Dear Ones,

NOAA predicts with a 50% confidence interval that the planetary K index will levitate to Kp=9 (the highest possible geomagnetic storm reading) for 4 hours, coming up shortly, I think … You’ll see that from the yellow line with the hatch marks on the very top right half of the graph… The prediction is updated every 15 minutes at http://www.swpc.noaa.gov/products/wing-kp
