Dear Ones,

A visit to the Weminuche Wilderness during the window of Incoming Light of the Autumn Equinox 2015. This was on 19 September 2015, the day of the opening of the Gateway … a few days before the very day of the Equinox. The beautiful instrumental music at the end of the video is “Cylinder Five” from the album “Cylinders” by Chris Zabriskie, CC by 4.0. There is a lightly edited Summary after the video.

Sandra Walter has excellent intel on this Gateway and the Equinoctial Energies. See her blog …

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO

Hello, Dear Ones, It’s Alice. I Am of the Stars.

And here I am in the Weminuche Wilderness, which is startlingly grand. And on the trail down there, I just now ran across cowgirls (ladies riding horses), and a man jogging with his dog. So where I am right now, I think is called the Pine River Campground.

The road down this way, to this steep mountain pass down here, ends abruptly in the Campground. And then there is a horse trail and hiking trail that goes along down to I am not sure how far. I am going to explore it another day, in the morning.

And parked in the parking lot are gadzillion horse trailers … very large horse trailers. So I have to guess that there must be about 50 horses down that way right now, and horseback riders. It looks like there is a great angling spot, down at a place called Emerald Lake. And so people walk down with fishing poles.

Just on the other side of the hiking trail is a big meadow, and it is all fenced in. It is one of the great ranches in this river valley that apparently supply the horses that people come and take day trips on.

It is a very picturesque place … And what do you know? … The day use parking fee is zero dollars. [photo of black steer] … The place where I have been sitting to talk to you, where my backpack is now, is a kind of an elevated boardwalk [shows boardwalk and backpack; next to boardwalk are brown hitching posts] … which I think people stand up on, in order to mount the horses that are probably hitched to these hitching posts here. It is a handy way to get on a horse, here. And behind all that are a number of other hitching rails … five rails altogether. So you could take a whole batch of horses here and hitch them, and then proceed on down the trail. See the trail gate, down there? [shows trail gate]

The trees here are a mixture of aspen [shows trees] … see that quaking aspen? … just starting to turn, with the winter chill; and it looks like blue spruce to me; and some kind of very tall pine tree. What kind of pine tree is that?

And then you have some beautiful rocks, of which I will soon show you pictures. They seem to be just kind of plunked down here, in the middle of the meadow. Sometimes they are huge sized, and they are all kind of straight edged, like this one here [shows rock] … which was put here for a reason, I will bet.

Here is one of those giant rocks that is in the middle of a valley [shows rock] … a flat valley, very flat … and the mountains are way over there [pans to mountains]. And here is this giant rock. I cannot figure it out. How did it get here? There are two more over here [pans left, to two more rocks]. There is one … And here is this rock [walks up to it] … This rock is bigger. Let me see … Alright, shoulder high. Really big rock. Kind of square edges.

So how did it get here? Was this a giant, glacial valley at one time? Maybe a glacier put it here; that is all I can think. One of the great mysteries!

This is altogether beautiful country; but it is just a little bit scary when I hike alone, because there are so many bear and cougar in this area, that one has to be always on the lookout, you know? … Or else with a group of people, which is better.

The other day I was hiking around Bayfield, Colorado, just around Pine River there. Might be the same river, for all I know … right there in town, practically … between the town and the freeway. And there was bear scat right there on the trail. When I came out, a lady told me to be very careful walking around, because there were three bear roaming around the town; no doubt, black bear. So out here in the wilderness, Lord knows how many bear there are, and how many cougar.

I talked with a ranger in Bayfield, and asked him what were my chances in the wilderness. And he said the cougar much preferred to eat deer and elk and like that. By God’s grace, he said, there were plenty of those around; so people did not need to worry about it very much. And I think as far as black bear are concerned, it is just good not to carry food in your backpack.

But here I am, after my walk, alive and sound. I just have one message today; and that is: The Light is so glorious, at this Fall Equinox … just so glorious! It is great to get out in the sunlight and just sit, is it not? And I expect the Light will continue for another week or two … amazing Light, changing everything … lifting up all the Darkness off of Earth, I feel … and all the dark thoughts, all the dark energies … so that she can be what she really is, which is just like this! … just glorious and pristine and beautiful … all the natural world in balance.

I am hoping, by the end of the next week or two, that humankind will also be in balance with the Earth.

Blessings to all humankind. Blessings to my beautiful and beloved Gaia.
